Channeling Tilda Swinton

And not by smelling like her.

As you can tell by the photo of me and Asali/Jasia having fun at the fishermen’ party in Klenovica yesterday, I’m not wearing any make-up.
It’s my vacation after all.
I do have to admit that even though I’m channeling Tilda, I do not feel as comfortable looking like I have no eyelashes the way she does.

Jasia looking great without make-up and me with no lashes

It’s been forever since I wrote and I’m hoping the sitting on the terrace having coffee with Jasia or lying on the beach in the sun (as seen on the photo evidence provided) will do much to restore my writing mojo.
The sniffing sessions with Jasia are also helping although you’d think we’d be able to have more of those since we are on vacation…
But we’re busy doing other things:

When not smelling of our samples and decants, we pretty much smell like the salty air and sunscreen and in the evening of Off mosquito spray which smells wonderful (you’d be surprised how good it smells). Jasia says carnation but to me it’s simply a great scent for such a product.

You could possibly catch as wafting a bit of smokiness (from being close to the burning wood for the barbecue)… B-)

Smell you soon!

Sunny love from Smokvica from both of us

Ines, it doesn’t matter whether you’re channeling Tilda Swinton or not – you’re beautiful! And all the more so standing next to that gorgeous chick next to you! Love to you both, and thanks for the wonderful report and photos from Smokvica (or as I like to say, Little Fig)!

      Thank you Suzanne!
Asali left today for another week of vacation where it’s not going to be hellishly hot as in LIttle Fig.
And she’s probably going to get enough sleep – it won’t be as hot and she might not party until 4 a.m. (like we did after this picture was taken). 😉

First of all – you both look great. Keep enjoying yourselves and your vacation.

Now, about the make-up. Are you saying that your lips look like that without any help from the industry? If yes – then WOW. If no, then you are wearing a make-up – just not the full war paint which would be strange on the beach – if you ask me 😉

Oh well, unlucky for me, my lips don’t look like that without some help. But then again, I don’t really consider wearing lipgloss as make-up as I basically use it instead of lipbalm. The fact I’m not wearing any foundation and eye make-up is what I was talking about. Well, just the eye make-up actually, I can live without foundation. I just have a problem with not seeing my eyelashes. 😉

It’s great to see your holiday snaps with Asali! What a cute photo – with or without make up – and your bold prints also blend nicely together. And if I may say so, you also appear to be channelling Birgit – by adopting the American spelling ‘channeling’. 😉

He,he, he, good for me! I’m an aerial! 😉

do use the American spelling more (generally speaking), and I do apologize if I sometime mix the British and American spellings, I just go with what feels right at the moment.
