My top 15 perfumes

To grab when the building is burning. πŸ˜€

I decided to participate in an impromptu series of other bloggers (Vanessa, Tara and Undina) and must say it was fun to think about the 15 bottles I would hurriedly gather. The only problem being they are not in the same place but let’s ignore that part. πŸ˜‰

I had a problem with the last place. It was a tie between two perfumes so instead, I added an imaginary bottle (a perfume I wish I had).

In no particular order but how they appeared in my mind (and two are decants but I would grab them instead of a bottle of something else).

  1. Guerlain Shalimar
  2. Guerlain Jicky
  3. Guerlain Cruel gardenia (yes, I see a pattern here) πŸ˜€
  4. Penhaligon’s Artemisia
  5. Aedes de Venustas Iris Nazarena
  6. Frapin Caravelle Epicee
  7. L’Artisan Parfumeur L’Eau d’Ambre
  8. Ramon Monegal Cuirelle
  9. Shiseido Feminite du Bois
  10. Honore de Pres Vamp a NY
  11. Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
  12. Chanel Coromandel
  13. Frederic Malle Bigarade Concentree
  14. Puredistance M
  15. April Aromatics Tempted Muse

Yay I’m so happy you went for it and joined in the fun Ines!
Great list. I knew there would be some spice and tuberose as well as Shalimar. Good to see some niche perfumes that haven’t come up elsewhere too.

Tara, you know my taste better than I know yours. πŸ™‚ There is never a list without Shalimar. πŸ˜‰

Ooh, this series appears to have legs! Really interested to hear your choices…I have very little crossover with you, but I knew that anyway. πŸ˜‰ Bronze Goddess is one example though. Cologne Bigarade is also beautiful now you have reminded me.

Yes, and thank you for that! πŸ™‚ It’s so much fun to make lists. πŸ˜€
I probably would have forgotten about Bigarade myself but as I moved recently, that bottle somehow missed being packed somewhere and is now in view each time I go through the hallway.

WHOA! Such a cool list. LOVE seeing some of my faves here like Frapin Caravelle Epicee, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess and Chanel Coromandel. We only snapped on Shalimar but it’s right up top so that’s kinda cool.

Thank you, glad to hear we share so many faves. πŸ™‚ I think Caravelle Epicee doesn’t get enough love, that is one beautiful creation.

Jicky (in extrait), Cruel Gardenia, Coromandel and Bronze Goddess are among my β€œloves.” ## 5, 7, 8 and 14 I could wear but won’t risk my life for. If I had Shalimar extrait bottle, I would have saved if just for the bottle ;). And the rest I just don’t know.

It is so much fun to read everyone’s lists! (I knew Shalimar would be on yours! πŸ™‚ ).

    Gorgeous List Ines, so YOU!
Is tempted muse the one you wish you had, but don’t? I can send you some of mine, although we need to find both a country that I can ship perfume to, where it doesn’t get lost on the way…

Thank you! πŸ™‚ Yes, Tempted muse is the one I wish I had. YOu gave me a decant long time ago and I was so sad when I emptied it, it is truly an amazing perfume.
As for shipping perfume, hopefully it’s again possible in Croatia (I received a package from Cookiequeen (it traveled a bit long, but arrived safely).

Hi, Ines. I see some heavy-hitters on the list. I would also add Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Vanille, and Colonia Essenza. Have you tried them?

Hi! I see you like Tom Ford. πŸ™‚ No, I haven’t tried those but will give them a go. Eventually. Not really a period for going into stores.
      Thank you for the suggestions!

I’m a man and Shalimar and Jicky are saved as well, with vintage Eau Sauvage, Kouros and Rive Gauche pour Homme, I might start over as a minimalist… (as if!)
