Merry Christmas!

To all my readers – people who still think this blog might be brought to life and haven’t lost faith –  and to those who think otherwise (whom I hope to prove wrong 😉 ) – I wish you all the most fulfilling Christmas – may it bring you the true happiness and contentment we all deserve to feel in our lives.

This is one my trees this year – the other one is on the wall but somehow isn’t photogenic (I really tried taking a good photo but failed).

P.S. I’ve been trying to re-ignite my love for perfume and the farthest I got so far is enjoying immensely the original Feminite du Bois.

God, that perfume is so good!

And it makes me remember the initial enthusiasm I had.

    Howdy do! Merry Christmas!

Suddenly this makes me think of some kind of blog-link-thing about “perfume bloggers who aren’t so much blogging about perfume right now and what they’re doing instead.”

    Or something.

Hi Martha, and thank you. 🙂
If you organize it, I’ll participate wholeheartedly.

There are so many great perfumes, and I hope you’ll enjoy them whether you choose to write about them on your blog or not (though I hope you will).
I remember that Feminite de Bois didn’t work for me when I tested it several years ago but I’ll find my sample tomorrow and re-test it – because you wrote about it 😉

    Happy Holidays, Ines!

Thank you dear Undina, and what a lovely thing to say. 🙂 I hope you re-tested it and found it better this time around. 😉 Luckily these things can change (I always think of me and Shalimar).
I hope I’ll write a bit more this year – I actually miss writing.

Merry Christmas, Ines! Your Christmas tree is lovely, and I hope Santa put some good presents under it for you.

Anytime you choose to write about anything, I will be here (I might not always comment, but you are guaranteed to have me as a reader). Despite me not being into perfume blogging anymore, I often think of those two magical trips where Mark and I met up with you and Asali in Paris and Rome. And, naturally, I am always wondering what you are up to: skiing, running, astrology studies? Whether you still wear the leather gloves you bought in Rome, whether your uncle made that fantastic prosciutto again this year, whether you still have your beautiful red hair or have gone back to your natural blonde?

(All of which is to say, I think of you often and wish you the best, always!) 🙂

Ah, dear Suzanne, you make me feel all Christmasy againg. 🙂 And Santa was very nice to me this year. 😉
Unfortunately, no more running for me, my back decided to tell it’s time to stop and even though I hope I might train my back muscles into supporting my spine as much as possible, running is not recommended. The worst thing is I miss it so much! I dream about it often. I hope I will be able to run at least a little bit eventually though.
As for gloves, I’m wearing them. 😀 On those rare days when it’s actually cold here. It feels more like spring than winter.
And I am going skiing in 10 days time and I’m immensely looking forward to that.

The last bit of info that might have gone under radar on my blog – I’m single for over a year now. 😉

Ines, your note here made me want to catch up with you, so I just sent you an email. Talk to you soon, I hope.
