It’s been four years…

Since I wrote my first post. 🙂

I can’t believe how time flies.

I still think my blog is a work in progress and keeping it personal allows me to get away with not writing regularly or about perfume as much as I’d like to.

Which is why I want to thank you, all my readers, for sticking with me and still checking out my musings even though they don’t come often.

And to celebrate another blog year gone by – I’m giving away a Croatian box of chocolates and an 8ml roll-on bottle of Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Festive perfume to one lucky commenter.

Here’s champagne for all of you my dear readers!

Lifting my glass to you. Mine has Scotch and Coke and I’m enjoying it almost as much as I’ve enjoyed reading your posts, whenever they come it’s a nice surprise.

I’m a bit upset with myself over posting because I do have ideas but I’m too lazy to implement them in writing.
I’m hoping spring will bring some energy and writing enthusiasm back into my life.

    Dear Ines,

    Happy Blog Anniversary!

Four years is a good run but for you (with your marathon training) it should be a walk in a park! And I wish you many more fragrant walks over the next four years.

Hi Ines, Happy Blogoversary! How time flies…I do remember discovering your blog early on in my hobby. We don’t share much common ground in our perfume tastes, but that doesn’t make your reviews any less informative, and I love the evocations of your home country. I feel we have come so close to meeting that we will manage the real deal some day…

Vanessa, I lover reading your reviews precisely because we don’t share much common ground – and your take on them is always funny (plus, I always find some interesting things to try).
I’m sure there is a fragrant meeting in our future. 🙂

Congratulations! I rarely comment but do enjoy your blog very much. I forget for weeks at a time to scribble a line or two in my journal and can not imagine having the dedication to post regularly.

Thank you Liz! I always love it when people de-lurk and comment. 🙂
Yes, it takes dedication but for most of my life I’ve been writing a journal, or letters so writing is something I need to do.
It’s just that my life is a bit hectic so I come home tired and most of the time postpone my writng for tomorrow. And the days then just add up. 😉

You are right and the thing is, I love having a blog. But sometimes I realized I expect much more from myself than is possible in a given moment.
