Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

It seems this year the winter waited a week after officially starting to actually start. albeit, it gets wintery cold here much earlier usually than what the official date is. That said, after the extremely warm weather we had, snow has fallen and the temperature went down.

People hate it when it snows in the city, I, on the other hand, couldn’t be happier. πŸ™‚

It gets more quiet just because snow mufflesΒ the sounds of the city,Β the air smells of winter and snow and you can make snowmen!

So here are some photos of the city today.

What a wonderful winter scenery Ines. Here where I live we’ve had temperatures below zero for last couple of days but we almost got no snow. But other parts of Poland, in the mountains and at the seaside are much whiter than here in mid country

We basically had snow in all of Croatia, except for the seaside. But then, we didn’t even come close to zero until it started snowing. Very warm weather up until now but at least now that it’s cold and sunny, the snow will remain for a few days. πŸ˜€

I love the snow too Ines! We only have it in the north at the moment.

Fab photos. It’s true there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing πŸ™‚

Beautiful photos, Ines!! We haven’t had much snow here – just a light dusting last month. Kind of miss it 😦

Carol, we might get some more on Saturday! πŸ™‚ I think I’m the only one here actually looking forward to it (except for the children, they are always happy when it snows).

We got snow on Boxing Day – we are in the north! – and there is still some on roofs and in gardens, though it is gone from the roads. Went for several ‘winter wonderland’ walks in the countryside to make the most of it. I think you have a bit more of the white stuff, judging by your pics, and it all looks beautiful. Not so keen on driving in this weather, but my car is off the road at the moment anyway, so it’s walking in wellies or bust. πŸ˜‰

Yes, I’d say so as it’s still here (but then again we had some serious low temperatures these days – as in all time low for this part of the season). I love winter wonderland walks as well but I admit, when it’s -10 outside, I prefer staying inside where it’s warm.
Which makes sense, I love snow and snow falls around 0 degrees. πŸ˜‰
