One would think it wouldn’t be so hard to remember the date you started blogging but so far, I only managed to remember it’s sometime in March. π And this is my sixth anniversary!
Anyway, it’s become a tradition for me to celebrate my blog birthday with a little giveaway so lucky three people will receive some Croatian chocolate and a decant or two of my choice (haven’t yet decided which).
One will also get a sample of Puredistance White because it needs a better home than I can give – it pushes all of my clean, synthetic musk buttons. I can just add to that that I think it will be a huge success. π
Wishing everyone a happy spring (that would have been completely appropriate if I had done this on my actual blog birthday – March 20) and hopefully you’re enjoying it with sunny weather and among just blooming plants and flowers. π

Happy blog birthday. I would love my own blog but am wise enough to know it would kill me off. DNEM in your attractive draw. “Clean white synthetic musk” has already caused me to break out into a sweat! Hugs from your kind of neighbour. Keep it up! xxxxxx

Dear Ines, Happy Blogoversary! Wow six years. Good on you. Going at your own pace must be the key.
Spring has sprung in the UK this week. Really sunny and mild. At last! Rain forecast for the weekend though, ha ha.
I have a sample of White somewhere but if you’d kindly enter me for a decant that would be super lovely π

Nice of you to say I’m going at my own pace. π sometimes it seems there’s no pace at all. π

Six years is fantastic – congratulations! We’re enjoying perfect autumn days here in Australia…cloudless blue skies, foggy mornings, pansies & violas, scattered fallen leaves. By all means include me in the draw for a decant – ta!

Congratulations dear Ines. It’s a long time for sure, now I’m looking forward to more writing π It’s actually my 1 year today, as in I posted the first post (I think) on the 9th last year, but I’ve apparently had the domaine for many more years, and that I simply don’t recall at all π haha! Anyway, as my blog is just a toddler, I can truly appreciate the amount of work that goes into keeping a blog for 6 years. Cheers to the next 6!

I count the day I published my first post as the birthday because that’s when the blog actually saw the light of day. π

Happy Blog Birthday to you, Ines! I think there’s nothing wrong with slow blogging: it’s sort of like long distance running – if you go at a slow and steady pace, you might not win any races but you’ll have covered a lot of territory in that time. (Or at least that’s how I treat both my blogging and running. I certainly don’t set the world on fire, but I get there, and the scenery is beautiful along the way.) π
No need to include me in your drawing, as I was very lucky to win last year (and am still sooo grateful for what you sent me, which I’m still using). π

Thank you so much dear Suzanne for making me see it in a different perspective. I love long distance running and I do it in my pace (everyone at my club is improving their paces and I’m doing a scenery tour).
In any case, whatever suits me should be fine and I shouldn’t feel guilty because of it. π

Happy, happy Anniversary, dear Ines. No need to enter me (though I do confess to being a little curious about Croatian chocolate), but, really, I just wanted to congratulate you. And I’m really glad that you’re back to blogging and sharing things with us. I hope this year has been an improvement already on the last one for you. xoxox

Thank you Kafka! π And if your name comes out of the hat, you can have a double dose of Croatian chocolate instead of perfume.
This year has been an improvement over last one. And now with spring in the air, everything seems more positive.

Happy blog anniversary! DNEM in the draw for Puredistance White, I have a complicated relationship with white musk it seems. Just wanted to add that I have loved scrolling through the posts about Croatian design and hope for more of them at a later date.
