Turns out I get most of my perfume news out of the French Vogue. I wonder what that says about my perfumista proclivities… 
But, I must say that the new Reminiscence perfumes, White Tubereuse and Love Rose sound rather appealing.
Well, in my case, whenever I hear the word tuberose, it sounds appealing. 😉
Notes for Love Rose: start of citrus fruits, a refined heart of fusing rose, iris and jasmine absolutes, over an enticing musk base.That musk base doesn’t sound that promising, I have to say.
Notes for White Tubereuse: tuberose, ylang-ylang, cinnamon These notes, on the other hand, sound very promising. 🙂
One other perfume that sounds appealing as well (if only by name) – Extatic by Balmain.
Notes: nashi pear, rose, osmanthus, orris, sharry baby orchid, woody-leathered trail (that was the best I could get out of the Balmain site).
Since I really like Ambre Gris by Balmain, I tend to think this might be good as well.
The French Vogue says Reminiscences are going to be 78 Euros per 50ml.
And Balmain site says Extatic is 42 Euros for a 40ml bottle.

As for notifications, there is this special wordpress place where you manage them and unless you select immediate or sth similar, wordpress tends to send the notifications once per week.

“whenever I hear the word tuberose”… My feelings about that flower aside, are there any other colors? I understand something like “Red Rose” or “Black Iris” since those flowers might be of many different colors. But can tuberose be anything but white?

Ha, ha, ha, good point. 🙂 Not that I know but they could experiment more with the colors, not in the sense of tuberose color but more in the sense of accompanying notes. Yellow tuberose for example…

I have quite liked some of the Reminiscence line, though they do tend to veer to the baby powdery / musky end from memory. I would still be curious to try these, not least for the jewelled bobbly top, which is a cross between the one on Sonia Rykiel Women Not for Men! and the parfum version of the EL PC scents – Tuberose Gardenia et al. And the notes for the Balmain sound nice but the spelling would annoy the hell out of me.

As for Reminiscense, I really like their amber and patchouli perfumes, not so much the musical notes ones…

I tried Extatic – a slightly oddball woody oriental – I think i quite liked it, but would need to try it again to be sure!
