Tuberose term, starting… Now!

TuberoseActually, it started this morning but still, today is the day.

Our spring weather has finally decided to stop channeling autumn and we are finally heading for summer warmth and that means TUBEROSE. 🙂

I am very happy that the weather has consented to allow me to happily wear my lovely white flowers and I started this day with Vamp a NY.

That was a very good choice.

Other tuberose choices I will be dealing with in days to come include: MdO Tubereuse, Guerlain Mahora, Noix de Tubereuse by Miller Harris, the HdP Tuberose trio (Virginale, Capricieuse and Animale), L’Artisan’s Nuit de Tubereuse, Le Labo’s Tuberose, Estee Lauder Tuberose Gardenia and possibly Fracas(and I’m including here Songes, Une Voix Noire, Wildwood flower by H&M and Cruel Gardenia as they fit with my ideal).

For special evenings, I will be choosing between my samples of Carnal Flower and Tubereuse Criminelle.

If you have any suggestions what other tuberoses should get into the rotation, I’m waiting eagerly to hear them.

I’m also always open to receiving some.

You know, like the Bolt of Lightning… 😉

Darling Ines – one tuberose should be mentioned with those greats you (and I!) love so much – Juan M. Perez’ Flor Azteca. Look for the Exotic Island Aromas page on Etsy. Trust me – any tuberose lover should have it, it’s THAT good! 🙂

Dear Tarleisio, seems I encountered a problem. He no longer ships outside US. 😦

Well, it might be too much on the cool side of tuberose for you, but I was wondering if you still have the sample of Caron Tubereuse I sent you a long time ago?

Also, La Chasse aux Papillons is such a sweet little thing to swear with a sundress!

Of course I have it! 🙂 And I guard it for myself. I mean, I apply it every once in a while to my wrist to enjoy by myself. I’m not sure how well would people react to it if I wore it.

Btw, I’ll re-try Chasse, but I never swear, whether I’m wearing a sundress or not. 😉
      (couldn’t resist) 😀

😀 Oh gosh, I didn’t even notice my typo! I seem to have at least one or two typos at every blog I comment on – and normally they embarrass me, but your cute reply to this one made me glad for the error!

Haha, I see that quite clearly -Ines swearing while wearing tuberose perfumes and summerdresses:-D
I’m sure I’ll get to some of those killer-tubes one day, but for now Mahora is one of the few I truly love.

Well, can you hop on that sooner than later, babe? ‘Cause you would smell so motherf*cking good in a killer tuberose … and sh*t, I think if you wore a sundress with it and let fly a little, “Merde!” from time to time, no one would be able to resist you. ;-D

(Ok, apologies to both you and Ines, I’ll be on my effin’ way now.)

Late….very late. But how about Profumum Roma’s Tuberosa? It’s a big, lush mix of tuberose and jasmine that would radiate too much joy for any other season.
