Is loosely the name I gave the little perfume presentation I will be holding on May 21. 🙂
I still can’t believe I was asked if I wanted to talk about any perfume related subject I chose, as part of an informal group of perfume enthusiasts meeting every third Tuesday of every month.
I still haven’t had a chance to go listen to someone else and now I will be the one talking.
My idea is to bring around a dozen perfumes featuring a flower note that can be easily distinguished and to ask the participants to figure out which flower they are smelling. After that we can talk about the perfume and then move on to the next.
I am very much looking forward to it and I hope people will enjoy our little flowery search.
It’s an open thing and anyone can come so I hope people show up.
I’ll post my choices and how it went afterwards.

This sounds like so much fun!!

What a fun!
You should make cards either with all flowers names and space to put numbers according to the sequence you’ll present perfumes or with numbers and space to insert the flower – dependent on the level of the participants (though I’d go with flowers). Just for fun, so that everybody can self-check afterwards. And they can also put perfume names next to numbers after those are revealed. And you can offer everybody to suggest their favorite perfume featuring the same flower! And… Oh, wait… It’s your event. Sorry, you can see how excited I got 🙂
Can’t wait to read about it! (just don’t forget pens/pencils if you decide to do any of the games)

No, no, all suggestions are welcome! 🙂 I’m still thinking about the order of perfumes, want to start with those that are easiest to detect. I also hope people will chime in with their choices on a particular flower so everyone can go home with more choices on the subject.
Oh, I certainly hope everyone will be a willing participant. 🙂

That’s a great idea for a talk, Ines. Wish I could be in the audience. Of course, you could do a command performance later this year … at a beautiful city near you … in September, maybe? 😉

Well, honestly, I don’t plan on doing much talking. I mean, I want it to be a dialogue – I want to hear what they smell and how they like the perfumes.

Very true. And you could always spray a little perfume on them. 🙂
